The Spectre was designed to hit three major areas.
Carry - The chest rig needed to be sized correctly to be able to carry what you need. A full 6 magazines, water, medical, comms, etc.. You can vary the load out to your requirements and needs, but it has the ability to carry as much or as little as you would need to be prepared to head out your front door right now.
Compatible - The chest rig is designed to be compatible as is needed for the modern fighter. It is attachable to a plate carrier via swift clips, it is compatible with a ruck (not too wide as to interfere with pack straps), it can accept dangler and wing pouches. This allows for maximum versatility with your pre existing kit and not having to buy into a new system. The Spectre will work as a stand alone chest rig, or as part of your larger gear system.
Close- The Spectre will stick to you like glue. It will not feel saggy, or lose but it will feel as part of your body. This is achieved through a pull forward rear strap and a “single panel” design that keeps the pouches from sagging away from your body even when full loaded. It will also retain all of your gear when you are crawling, running and jumping. with multiple tie down loops, hook and loop closures, and buckle closures the chest rig will retain your gear through all conditions. The chest rig and your gear will stay close to you and not cause excessive fatigue due to loose gear.
Where the Spectre really shines is with it’s general purpose side pouches. These pouches feature a hook and loop along with a buckle closure. The GP pockets were built to be as versatile as possible to give you a range of options. Featuring two tie down loops (one at the bottom of the pouch and one at the top), you can utilize the pockets to carry a variety of items and ensure you never loose them. If you want to carry water on your chest rig, simply slide the buckle out of the top portion of the pouch and utilize the Y portion of the buckle to fit around your water bottle and buckle it in. It will also fit a Nalgene style 1 liter bottle.
Behind the GP pockets is a slip pocket. This slim pocket will accept most hand held radios, allowing you to keep comms on you at all times. You can also utilize this pocket to store a knife. Simply remove the included shock cord and paracord your knife into the pocket.
The generous map pocket gives you room to carry any flat items you may have.
